Di ridotte dimensioni, è un dispositivo tascabile e conforme allo standard USB CCID. La nuova meccanica favorisce l'inserimento della carta, senza condizionare negativamente le dimensioni complessive del prodotto e la sua trasportabilità; grazie all'ampia memoria disponibile, SmartPocket Combo è un prodotto unico che coniuga l'esigenza di accesso a carte a microchip con il trasporto di dati e componenti applicative.

FUNZIONALITA' MEMORIA FLASH:

La memoria flash presente nel dispositivo è gestita come un'unità disco che può opzionalmente essere suddivisa in ulteriori 3 partizioni, a scelta tra i seguenti tipi:

Mass Storage standard , dove i dati possono essere salvati in chiaro;
Mass Storage crittografato: con AES 256 bit;
CD-ROM , con funzione autorun;

SIMReaderCombo è il lettore di carte SIM innovativo in formato chiave USB che offre le seguenti funzioni:

Lettore di carte SIM + memoria USB

Grazie alle sue ridotte dimensioni, il SIMReaderCombo è un dispositivo tascabile che unisce le funzioni di un lettore di carte SIM a una chiave di memoria della capacità massima di 4GB. L'accesso alla memoria flash sul dispositivo avviene in lettura e scrittura come per un'unità logica addizionale: per maggiore sicurezza, l'accesso può essere protetto mediante password e l'intera area di memoria può essere persino partizionata.
Le dimensioni compatte e il connettore USB rendono il SIMReaderCombo un lettore di smart card facile da portare con sè, che viene incontro al crescente bisogno di trasportabilità di dati e applicazioni.

Alta velocità
Basato su e compatibile con il lettore CardMan 6121 di Omnikey il SIMReaderCombo supporta frequenze di trasmissione dati lettore-carta fino a 420 KBits/secondo, superando le performance di altri lettori di smart card.

Standard
Poiché il SIMReaderCombo è conforme con gli standard industriali di maggior rilievo (ISO 7816, EMV (Europay, Mastercard, Visa) 2000, USB CCID, PC/SC, HBCI (Home Banking Computer Interface, la specifica PC-2001 e molte altre), è utilizzabile con qualsiasi smart card su qualsiasi computer per qualsivoglia applicazione.

Applicazioni
Le applicazioni per il lettore includono il download di applicazioni GSM da Internet sulla carta SIM, il controllo logico di accesso, PKI per utenti mobile, la firma digitale, il mobile banking sicuro e le transazioni online, programmi di fedeltà, soluzioni per la sanità e molte altre future applicazioni.
L'uso all'interno di un'applicazione si basa su interfacce standard come PC/SC, OCF (Open Card Framework) o CT-API. Il SIMReaderCombo è CCID-compliant e presenta un'interfaccia USB 2.0 full-speed. Con i driver CCID che stanno prendendo piede su molti sistemi operativi, il SIMReaderCombo può semplicemente essere connesso ad una porta USB per essere automaticamente riconosciuto dal sistema.
